Stuck in New York for the night due to cancelled flights, I was staying at a nearby hotel and stumbled across this café. I prefer to read online reviews before frequenting an establishment, but it smelt good from the outside, so I headed inside! Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was difficult to choose what I wanted to eat — everything on the menu looked so good! In the end I went for chicken stew, rice and beans — and when staff rang up the cost of the meal, I was blown away

We left our bags here for the day after landing from La Guardia Airport. We were a group of 8 and easily left all our bags there with no issue. They were very nice and respectful about the process and we even got some snacks to go from there. Definitely recommend
