The food and service is excellent from this Dominican food 🥑 restaurant. We had the steak and chicken with rice plus beans. It was all good. The seating area is a little tight and decor is what you can expect in the region. We will be back even though it's cash only
Authentic Dominican food is hard to come by, but if your are in the Sunset Park area you are in luck! La Parada has delicious food for a quick inexpensive bite.
The service was meh as the young lady at the counter was more into her phone call and rushing me to make a selection so she could get back to that call undisturbed.....and before you think it, no there wasn't a line. I got the fried shrimp plate and plantains. The plantains, rice & beans were great but the shrimp had absolutely no flavor; just floured and fried.
