I stumbled on La Ruta Del Taco 2 by accident walking through Bed-Stuy, and I’m so glad I did. At first glance, I was skeptical—authentic Mexican street tacos in this part of Brooklyn? But after trying it, I can say without hesitation: this place is the real deal. I ordered three of their signature tacos and a Jarritos, and was blown away. The flavors are spot-on, the tortillas taste fresh, and the quality of the ingredients is clear in every bite. This is true Mexican street food, not a watered
As someone who grew up in socal its hard to find good mexican food out here. Their california burrito is better than some of the spots i grew up eating at. Bonus points for extensive menu and excellent salsa selection. Flawless no notes. They’re doing everything right
Ordered a horchata and a steak burrito. The horchata was good and the burrito was decent. The service was good. It wasn’t packed so my food wasn’t a long wait and the cashier was friendly as well. Nice atmosphere inside. Going to go back and see if there’s more food items I like more than the burrito.
