I also want to point out that they don’t have the option to leave a tip when paying with a card, which shows a lack of empathy from the owners towards their employees — adding that option would definitely help them do better. The Rollo de Arequipe didn’t taste fresh, it had a fridge flavor and was hard. On the other hand, the pandebonos had very good flavor, and the pandeyucas were also delicious. Overall, they should consider adding the tip option
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Las Americas Bakery, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Charged me $7 for a budín de pan when everywhere they're around $4, max $5. They charged it as "varios" (varied) which could be anything. It is very vague and a great way to scam. The chicharron de guayaba was overcharged as "varios" too but not as much as the budín. Shouldve read the previous comments about this place's scamming practices
