I went to this restaurant on Juneteenth with a group of friends. Service and food exceeded all my expectations. I ordered the lamb shop and asked to be medium cooked it came out perfect just the way I like it. For the appetizer I got fried calamari it wasn’t greasy at all and tasted so good. I had the strawberry mojito for drink. For dessert I ordered the chocolate mousse. We all ordered food to go ( plats à emporter). I will definitely return there with families. I’ll admit, I was pretty skeptical about trying Lava Rock Kitchen at first. A halal Italian restaurant in Parkchester sounded interesting, but I wasn’t know what to expect. Thankfully, it completely exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was delicious, and you could tell that a lot of care went into every dish. A special shoutout to Shoykot, who was our server. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience
My family and I had an amazing time at Lava Rock Kitchen. We were looking for an authentic halal Italian restaurant and found it. We all tried different appetizers, meals, mocktails and everything hit the spot. Absolutely amazing menu, atmosphere, and service. Our server Morshed was very attentive and accommodating to our little one the entire time. Definitely a new favorite restaurant. Can't wait to be back soon.
