I stopped by Laza Dessert Cafe on Steinway during Ramadan because it was one of the few places open late for coffee and desserts, which is honestly a big plus when those late-night cravings hit after iftar. I decided to try the Laza Special crepe because the picture they had displayed made it look super chocolatey and rich. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the expectation. Laza Dessert Cafe in Astoria is such a great spot if you’re in the mood for something sweet and refreshing. They have a really nice variety of desserts, and the coffee menu is surprisingly big with a lot of different drinks to choose from. What I really liked is their selection of lemonades and virgin mojitos super refreshing and perfect if you don’t drink alcohol. Everything was well made and the place has a nice vibe to sit and relax. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
Laza Dessert Cafe is an absolute gem! Their kunafa, crepes, and Dubai chocolate are incredibly delicious, each item tastes freshly made and full of flavor. The prices are very affordable, which makes enjoying great desserts even better. The cafe has a cozy, well-lit atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax with friends or family.
