Le Viêt Thai serves good, reasonably-priced food but this is best enjoyed as takeout because the space is cramped, with seating right next to their boxed supplies and space heaters. But if you can get past that, I recommend the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli ($16 plus tax) and the Tom Yum soup, both with good heat, textural contrast and depth of flavor.
Food was delicious, didn’t take long. We got beef pho, thai iced tea, market fried rice, ginger sauté, thai coconut soup. All of it was great. Coconut soup was a great starter. Fried rice was our favorite. It’s an unassuming place compared to the thai place next door. Don’t get it confused! 🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍
I’ve been to quite a few Vietnamese places in the city but this place has my heart. The broth is so flavorful, and the prices are affordable. Customer service is quite good as well. I would eat there almost everyday if I could. It’s that good!
