Service was very attentive and friendly. Didn't have to wait long to get food or flag anyone down. The staff was always walking around and looking at tables, cleaning up and refilling water without asking. It's pretty good HK comfort food, no complaints here. The prices are lower than other Chinese restaurants on 86st so it's reasonable I'd say.
You might recognize the namesake… I think this is owned by the same mgmt with another location by 18th Avenue, across from JMart. And feels very similar to what used to be the “Legend’s steakhouse”… well this spot took over the defunct Yozi Noodle that offered dry pot (RIP), ramen, dumplings… sad it’s gone, I actually enjoyed their dry pot. Legend Cafe Express has 2 floors… the lower floor is roomy, booth seatings and banquette seatings. Bright & welcoming. Still kind of new, probably needs
Great Hk brunch place for a get together. The French toast, chicken wings and spam and egg instant noodles were so good! And the thai iced tea is a must!!! Can’t go wrong with the price and quality of food you get at this place. Definitely coming back again!
