Laid-back restaurant serving quick bites and small plates of Northeastern Chinese fare.
From Google Maps reviews.
Not sure why the all low star reviews, probably local uncle and auntie don’t come to write Google reviews. A friend recommended us to try this spot, and it was good. For their prices in today’s market, very affordable and big portion. Food is made when ordered, fish was fresh. Their spicy is different from Szechuan spots, where they are a northeastern region cuisine, so don’t expect ma-la, just kick in the mouth spicy, not complaining, just new experiences. Flavor is not top notch, but more
My aunt says this is a northern Chinese dongbei food. I really love the lamb soup here it’s like the ones in Mongolian hot pot. I also like the pumpkin fried sesame pancake. I was not a fan of the oblong cornbread. It was super dry but the rest of the dishes are authentic and good. Portions are huge.
Went on sunday with a friend, we honestly just got in to get refuge from the rain.. but we were really pleasantly surprised! food was great (very generous portions), prices were good.
