Limited menu items with a premium price! However, the food is good and this place indeed lives up to its hype. The beef pie is curry based and it's better to go with some kind of rice. It would be better that the dish comes with a bowl of rice instead of us ordering the premium mushroom rice. The water tastes very tappy and it's better to go with lemons 🍋.
We came here for brunch as a group of 3 and the food did not disappoint! Portions were extremely generous - sharing a single apple pancake, chicken sando, and beef pie was more than enough. Service was also attentive, but they were strangely rushing us throughout our entire meal. We stayed here for about 1 hour, which is within their time limit, but our table was cleared after 45 minutes, and the whole experience just felt extremely uncomfortable towards the end. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Have been going there Saturday mornings for brunch. Highly recommend the breakfast sets (gyudon and fish, both excellent). With a side of house pickles. Also incredibly tasty. Food is very homey and comforting.
