Where to even start. The Lofi Cafe is humbly but quaintly situated on Nostrand Street. Upon entry, the staff is lovely and kind: we were greeted with a smile and immediately felt at home. The menu features traditional coffee items (drip, lattes), more chic, “hip” items (matcha, chai), and fun, refreshing specialties. When you walk into Lofi, I was greeted with a warm smile. I came on their first day, so there was a decent amount of foot traffic. They have a cute spot with limited seating but a great vibe of music. I got the iced lavender espresso martini, which is just a latte, but with an elevated lavender and vanilla syrup and oat milk . The espresso is strong, but you can tell that it is very fresh and the oat milk is creamy and smooth. The lavender was subtle but sweet enough. Whoever chose the product
The staff are warm and it has a bright, cute atmosphere. Service feels slow, and I paid $8 for an inedibly stale croissant. The coffee is good — I’ll go in for coffee-to-go.
