Chinese bakery with a sign outside listing two drinks for $3, plus cakes, buns and pastries, plus takeout service.
From Google Maps reviews.
Happened to walk past right after remembering I wanted to buy some food to bring for lunch. Got the roast pork bun and hot dog with scallion bun. The the roast pork bun had too many fatty pieces for my preference though it's less than some other places. Like the hotdog and scallion one though. Bread is moist, soft, and chewy even 2 days later. They only take cash and it was $3.50 for both. Small cramped store, but will def go back to try some of the other breads
I've been wanting dan tat for a while, thank you auntie for the clutch!!
Cash only. This is one of my favorite Asian bakeries in NYC. It’s authentic and delicious. There is no seating. It’s a grab and go type of spot (like most bakeries in Chinatown).
