MAKI is a great casual spot, especially with its super convenient location right by CBS. The salmon don is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The tuna bowl is also delicious and offers great value for the price. Prices are very reasonable overall, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a reliable go-to for a quick and tasty meal.
don’t know what happened, portion size got SIGNIFICANTLY smaller especially the amount of Ikura. See for yourself. Don’t know why the owner is explaining the salmon. I am just talking about Ikura, as the owner you know very well you are putting less in each bowl
I absolutely love the sushi from this place; it’s super authentic and of superb quality. They are also super friendly. I recommend it 100%. I feel that, especially in New York, it’s very difficult to find this level of quality for affordable prices.
