Mamas is more like a sports bar now. A place Latinos hang out served by shapely well dressed Latinas. It’s not very big. I suppose they are trying new service and new attitude. Genny says she runs the place but she was not there Saturday afternoon when I visited. I stopped on way to NYC. I ate crispy empanadas and drank Stella beer 🍺. I’m sure it’s busy at night. I might return.
Tasty, cheap and fast. The crust is really good. Thin crust, crunchy, chewy, salty, sweet, creamy.. the classic ny slice. This place will not break your wallet and your kids will love it. My son would like to give this place 10 stars. haha. Good people behind the counter.
After discovering this place about a month ago, I have been going here for Mamas Margarita pizza. Absolutely delicious and by far the best margarita pizza I have ever had. 11 inch costs around $11 can feed 3-4 or maybe one super appetite (like mine). Or, a slice for $2.50 is decently sized to challenge you taste bud and curb your hunger. The environment is homely with music on the background.
