I like the empanadas at this location, however the location in Hell’s Kitchen has a much bigger selection of empanadas. The empanadas here were tasty. The place was very disorganized and there was trash on the floor. But what stood out to me the most was how rude and unprofessional the cashier girl was (the girl at the cashier in the picture). I asked her questions about the menu and I had to ask a few times because it seems she was ignoring me and I’m not a soft spoken person. I then asked her
Went with the baked chicken and beef empanadas to go. Baked because bae and I feel this is the healthier option. Wait wasn’t too long. There was seating inside but I parked at a hydrant so needed to take to go. Finding a parking spot is rough on Steinway. Came out to 14 bucks. Tastes Satisfactory, not excellent.
In a city with endless empenadas and similar snacks, these are good. Not overly greasy, no stomach ache, just felt satisfied with a tasty snack before going to the Museum of the Moving Image. I didn’t have any issues with service, cleanliness, etc.
