Been coming here for years and I guess I got lucky that I didn’t get rude customer service 😂. They’re always changing staff so that could be it too, never consistent here. I ordered the cheesesteak and Hawaiian empanadas- absolute bomb. Those are the best ones on the menu. I called ahead for my order and it was done on time. Be advised that they charge more if you pay with debit. Aka bring cash.
I stopped by Mama’s Empanadas and left super disappointed. I ordered a chicken empanada and it was basically just mashed potatoes barely any chicken at all. The “ají” they gave me was more like a watery fake guacamole, not even close to the real thing. I've been getting food from here for over 6 years and it's easily one of the best places to get empanadas! They are very generous with the proteins, the empanadas are fully stuffed, and delicious. They have about 50 different options to choose from and they do not disappoint. All the sauces are really good as well.
