I had an amazing time at Mastro’s Steakhouse. Edwin the bartender had an incredible vibe, provided excellent customer service, and made the best drinks. Quinnell the manager was welcoming and attentive, and her recommendations were perfect. It is refreshing when management truly understands guest preferences. The hot plate concept is very cool, you pretty much cook your steak on your plate, downside is if you don’t finish it in time, uncooked steak is raw. The signature cake is so good!!! Risotto ball is good too. Life music on the side, the lady can perform by request if she has the song in her iPad.
Mastro's New York: High Expectations Met Fairly Well (Reservation Essential) Let me start by saying that a reservation is highly recommended at Mastro's, and for good reason. The ambiance is super nice, super busy with live music and almost full to the brim on a weekday dinner. My experience was a mix of genuinely stellar moments and a few areas where my high expectations fell slightly short, ultimately leading me to feel they fared fairly well and deserve a second chance.
