A friend told us to check out Matchaful while we were in the shopping center, and I can’t say I was particularly impressed. The staff weren’t particularly friendly, and a “large” drink was over $10. To my surprise, the large kind of just seemed like a standard latte size you’d get from most other cafes. And for the price, I was not terribly happy with the flavor of the matcha drink I got.
Leek, Aidan, and Julian provided the warmest most welcoming environment at the Matchaful cafe in the brookfield shopping center. They three are very personable, making great conversation with all customers. Nobody left without a smile on their face. The matcha and oats are a lovely combo suggested by Julian, so I highly recommend! 10/10 experience overall thanks to the fresh food, tasty drinks, and customer service.
Matchaful is the best matcha place in NYC! The team here is very great and full of life, making my days brighter and better. The menu can seem daunting but they’re very open to helping you figure out the right order for you and know everything on the menu. I recommend the Oishii Berry, Indigo Glow, and Miso Peanut Butter Cold Foam. The matcha here is very good & some of the best I’ve ever tasted. You will not go wrong choosing matcha from here!
