Me and my friend used to go to max brenner all the time. We walked by the time square and saw the little gift shop so decided to browse. The cashier with croissant jellycat helped us out. We bought few things but price was bit off. Promotion was not added. Instead of refunding or returning, he told us to grab another chocolate bar to make up the difference. He works efficiently and effectively. Also he was very nice and attentive.
This hot chocolate was perfection! I always worry that these kinds of hot chocolates will just be sickeningly sweet and not enjoyable. Max Brenner has the perfect balance. It is not too think, not too sweet and deliciously chocolatey. A must try in Times Square!
We went here on a cold December night and ordered a hot chocolate, a pistachio crepe and a molten lava cake. The pistachio crepe was really good and it had the right balance of pistachio and sweetness. The hot chocolate though could have been much better! Given this place credits itself for being a house of chocolate, I would expect better.
