We dined here on 12/31/25, our 2nd NYE dinner with the MTM family. Our reservation was made for 9:00P, same as the year prior, knowing it was likely one of the business evenings (if not the most) of the year for them. We had a wait of about 20-25 min, but we expected a wait and we were all good. One the staff (really sweet blonde woman) was great about acknowledging us and keeping us updated about our seating time, and I bet other diners may have not been as patient, but we were all good and app
We recently had dinner at Meet the Meat, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, tender, and exactly to the requested temperature. The creamed spinach was rich and delicious, and the crispy has brown potatoes were the perfect complement to the meal. I was craving a steak and recently moved to Astoria and saw this was walking distance so we tried it. They have a nice wine menu - we went with a red - French Bordeaux. Then we skipped appetizers and went straight into ordering dinner. We each got a petite filet, shared a baked potato and sautéed mushrooms with a sauce. Then we had walnut pecan pie. Everything was very nice and I plan to go again. It was a bit loud in the dining room.
