Such a vibe from the moment you enter! The owner is so personable and welcoming; his energy was truly infectious. I do not go out much these days, but when I do, it is to support my people. Mellow Yellow, owned and run by the most loving Israeli, Kobi, is an absolute hidden gem on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Each visit delivers delectable culinary delights, perfectly paired with Israeli songs sung by Kobi himself. I cannot recommend this place enough—truly unforgettable! Am Yisrael Chai! This is an outstanding coffee place! A rare experience where the owner knows his customers' usual orders, chats with everyone, and occasionally sings with the music. Food is delicious and there's beautiful art on the walls. Highly recommend it if you'd like to have a quick break from the anonymity of NYC's life. Food is delicious: avocado sandwich on a pita!
