The tuna sandwich and vermouth were the perfect way to start our afternoon. The lovely conversation with Marco made the stop even better. It was fascinating to learn about the special bread imported from Spain that makes the sandwich so unique. We will be back soon.
We popped in and got a great lesson on tinned fish from the very friendly and knowledgeable Marco. They have biggest selection I've seen in NYC! I just find the packaging fun to look at, but I'm excited to try the ones we bought especially after hearing his opinion on which ones were best. They also sell tons of Spanish products including jamon, pantry items like olives and other preserved veggies and condiments, beans, potato chips, sweets, etc. This spot has a cafe in the back so you can eat
Lovely place; delicious food and snacks. A delight—I just wish they were larger. The eating area in back, totally sweet, can get maddeningly hectic. People are not mindful of where they are and try to bring strollers or camp out to have a family day. This place is NOT set up for that.
