  I came here after work to celebrate a colleague's birthday. Although I'm not a smoker, I did enjoy Merchant Cigar Bar's elaborate cocktail menu! If you enjoy a well made drink, I highly recommend this place. In addition, the ambiance is fantastic and it's an overall beautiful bar. Finally, the service was great and the folks here were super friendly. Pro-tip: Do you enjoy an old fashioned? I recommend their "Corleone's Choice". It's Merchants' take on the classic cocktail.

  Jared is wonderful. This cigar bar feels intimate & is completely unlike the other one or two clubs/restaurants/bars attached to it. In here, you have low, leather seating and seats at the bar. Everything is fine and soothing. You can smoke and there is also a selection. Staff are not pretentious. You can have a wonderful experience and enjoy New York without any feeling of hustle or extreme. I love it. I saw someone even relaxing in there alone.   The bartender her is amazing! He custom creates cocktails based on what flavors, ingredients, and taste you prefer. You can smoke cigars and enjoy the classic Cocktails or speak to the bartender with a brief description of what you like and he will create a custom drink. You can also enjoy sporting events on their TV they have lounge style seating very comfortable and a nice food menu.
