This place made space for us despite a big group already being in the restaurant on a busy night. It’s an airy and bright Colombian place with friendly staff. The food is excellent - my bandeja paisa was generous and tasty, topped off nicely by the beans and a runny egg. We took home some fluffy buñuelos and pandebonos too which were the best we’ve tried in Brooklyn. A great local spot.
As a Latino who lives in the neighborhood, I wanted to support this place from the day it opened. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. The biggest issue seems to be a lack of organization. There are plenty of employees, but no clear system. Everyone appears to be doing everything, which often results in basic things being missed. A wonderful new addition to Glendale! This family-owned Colombian bakery/restaurant is exactly what the area needed. The space is bright, spacious, and spotless, with so many intentional details that make it feel warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.
