We found this place by chance and decided to have dinner here. The place looks really good and the atmosphere of the diner is old fashioned but in a good way. The food was pretty good and the portion is nice. I highly recommend if you want to grab a good and hearty meal.
this was one if not the best breakfast I have eaten at a breakfast diner. high quality chicken, waffles are delicious, eggs are spectacular and the turkey bacon specifically was amazing. very versatile in choices and quick to come out. devoured all the food 10/10 would come again
If you're looking for a great diner on the Upper East Side, Midnight Express is a must-visit. The food is consistently excellent, the staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere has that classic NYC diner charm that's getting harder to find. I love that it's one of the last true 24/7 diners on the Upper East Side, making it the perfect spot any time of day or night. Easily one of the best diners on the UES!
