The second I walked through the door that unforgettable sent brought me back to my childhood, when jewish delicatessens were everywhere. Great hotdog perfect snap, tasty knish, but the star of the show was definitely the pastrami on rye with a touch of mustard and sour pickles. And make sure to grab yourself a cream soda to wash it down. The combination will be one you won’t soon forget. Friendly & welcoming staff very clean environment.
My family and I used to love this place but I doubt we will ever return. It's filthy, the bathrooms the floors even the chairs are filthy and torn. The pickles had holes in them and the rye bread was stale and crumbling and the knish was not fresh. They only put a tiny amount of meat on the sandwich. We had 1 sandwich, 1 knish 1 hot dog appetizer and 1 soda which came out to over $60 plus tip. I do not recommend unless they bring it back up to par.
Potato latkes were in edible garbage, hard as a rock. The service is horrendous. 3% surcharge for credit card bills then the waiter tells me I have to pick a tip before he runs the card through because they're trying to charge the surcharge on top of the tip. This is not how this is done. You run the bill through and you bring me the credit card receipt to sign and add the tip . With their prices being sky high, it's bad enough you're charging an additional 3% use a credit card now you're go
