Sometimes I’m like “hm I should go vegetarian” and then I have a meal like this and I take it right back! Took pics because I knew it’d be good… Had no clue what I had in store. They were out of jerk chicken and curry chicken, so I got the stew chicken. THANK GOD. Chicken was soooooo good, so soft, so buttery. Rice & beans I swallowed in heaving spoonfuls. The plantains??? Oh my god, soft, some a tad crispy, sweet perfection. The first of many trips
Not the finest spot I'd say for jamaican food. I bought 3 plates. 1. The jerk sauce on the jerk chicken had soo much vinegar in it it tasted like the escovish fish sauce. 2. The curried goat wasn't as flavorful, but it was soft. 3. The stew chicken was regular its hard to mess that up.
Good for a small, cheap place. My goat was 50% bone. But the goat was tasty. Some tables to eat outside.
