Momoson Ramen and Sake Bar is the best ramen I’ve ever had - so much so I travel to NYC just for this ramen (and I’m from Chicago). I can handle spice very well, and the Spicy Ramen and Yuzu ball make it the best meal. It’s also the best chicken karage that I’ve had. Their dinner package allows you to get a ramen and app, so make sure to get this! When in NY, I have it about 3 times a week. Food and customer service at Momosan Ramen were amazing. Johan was our server and easily one of the highlights of the experience. His recommendations were on point and his attitude toward his work really elevated the visit. You can tell he cares about making sure guests have a great time, which made everything feel even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot and would come back again.
New favorite ramen spot! Ambiance (5/5): Sleek dining room with high top seating facing the windows or bar seating, or regular low seated tables. The establishment was only a third full on a random weeknight at 6:30p so it was very quiet and peaceful. Service (5/5): Our server was manning the bar and also attending to a few tables.
