This is an authentic, hidden Trinidadian vegan spot. I had the jackfruit roti twice—two Fridays in a row—and the taste never changed. I love the owner's vibe and attitude. I work in the vicinity of his business and I have had his patties before, but never the other food. Please don't hesitate to try it. Such a delicious mix of flavors. A gem for the neighborhood. Got a roti plate (with jackfruit) and a jackfruit bbq plate. Both delicious. Was a bit of a wait because they were busy but owner was polite and let us know the expected time before we made out order
We ordered brunch for takeaway. The order took far longer than expected to be ready. Yet when we got the chicken and waffles - they were cold & bone dry. I would guess the food was made a few days prior based on the state of it. The chicken was also the vings you can buy by the bag from any Asian grocery store and the texture was off against the waffles. Was expecting traditional tenders style. *edit to add we picked up the order…so it wasn’t cold because of delivery
