Pretty good overall, but the food could be better. Unfortunately, I can tell that the food has been pre-prepared way ahead of time. It was a Monday morning that we went and perhaps it is not the busiest day of the week, but I really expected a little bit higher quality. But overall, it is not bad. I do recommend it.
Amazing Cantonese food in classic Manhattan Chinatown setting. Exactly what you want in an NYC Chinatown restaurant! Everything hit, from the BBQ Char Sui Pork, Roast Pig, and Roast Duck standards (perfect texture, deep roasted flavors, amazing prices!) to the chow fun and Singapore noodles. The surprise favorite might have been the sweet and sour pork chop! Not something I typically order but my friend said they do it differently here and he wasn’t kidding! Behind this unassuming storefront is a hidden gem of a restaurant serving up delicious traditional Cantonese food. From the triple platter of duck/chicken/roast pork, to the beef chow fun, to the beef and Chinese broccoli, everything was fantastic. The star of the show, however, was the sweet and sour pork.
