Food is mediocre. The taro and duck rice noodle, soup tastes good and light,and taro is well cooked but the duck is impossible. The soup uses red yeast a red wine as seasoning, so there is a unique taste. No tip is required in this restaurant
This place is a hidden gem. I grabbed the PB noodles, deep-fried taro cake, and boiled dumplings. The portions were huge, especially for the price. The noodles were springy and packed with flavor, and the taro cake had the perfect texture. Crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I was already full by the time I got to the dumplings, but they were so juicy I couldn't stop. The best part was that everything came out to only $11. 🤯
Very authentic Fuzhou comfort food served in basic settings. Everything is served in dsiposable plates or cups, but everything we have tried is so delicious! The stir fried snow pea shoots were very tender and full of flavor. Fish ball soup was piping hot and had about ten fish balls (for only $3). The Fuzhou style spare ribs were deep fried with chunks of taro in a sweet and sour sauce. The veggies in the pork fried rice noodles ($5) were just a tad bitter, which was perfect for the dish. Fo
