This has to be the most saddest Vietnamese cafe/restaurant ever. It’s terrible. The food is so dry, everything is dry. I ended up getting the Grilled pork with rice. And it was literally just cut up ham… Where is the sauce?? It was 85% rice 5% sides and 10% meat. They barely give u meat. You’re better off going somewhere else for authentic Vietnamese food. This was a disappointment.
Got the Vegetarian Tofu Bahn Mi extra spicy. I asked them to make it vegan. Not sure if it already was/is though. They have a few vegetarian options that could probably be vegan upon request. The sandwich was pretty good and it was definitely spicy! 🤣
Small shop, priced well. Got the classic banhmi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. $15 before tip. The last banhmi & ca phê sữa đá I ate was in Ha Noi so I tempered my expectations but was pleasantly surprised. They seem to have made a very good effort with the resources available. The ground pork on the sandwich was heavier/greasier than what you’d expect but the essence and core flavors are captured quite well.
