Discovered such a delicious hidden gem in Chinatown, Brooklyn — an authentic Malaysian spot that truly surprised me in the best way. I ordered the Nasi Lemak and WOW. Total flavor bomb. The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked in coconut milk with pandan, and every bite had layers of flavor. Cozy small restaurant that has a long history of serving excellent food to its local community. My friends have eaten here since they were little kids eating here on a school trip and now they are still eating here in their 20s. Outside of their significance to the local community, the food is incredibly delicious. Each dish is seasoned well and has a smoky wok flavor. The customer service is also very good and we received our dishes fast.
Best Hainanese chicken in the neighborhood. Their nasi lemak, mee goreng, and satay chicken are delicious too.
