Tried Super Taste in Chinatown and honestly, really solid spot. Got a mix of dumplings — Sichuan style were probably the best, super flavorful with a nice kick. Chicken dumplings and chicken soup dumplings were also very good, juicy and fresh. The only thing that didn’t really hit for me was the pork & chives kind of flat compared to the rest. I liked it here, small and simple family owned, as opposed to the franchise crap we’re used to. I had a very nice cilantro-bombed ramen with some bao on the side. Both tasted great. But it was served on plastic plates which is sad, and that sucked a star from the rating for me. I expected hand made ramen and I seriously doubt that it was, which is another negative. In the end I left completely full however, and would come back.
I loved the pan fried pork dumplings, the chili 🌶️ oil makes the experience even better. I also had a bowl of Dan Dan noddles with beef that was super flavourful and rich. I loved it the soup 🍲 and the dumplings. In total I paid less than 20 usd.
