This place kept me alive while my friend was in the hospital. They have $11 chicken and steak burrito bowls with guac and it’s actually really great. They have 4 flavors of gluten free bagels, including cinnamon raisin!! They have salads, quesadillas, sandwiches, tacos, muffins, and lots of snacks. The one thing is… the gluten free bagels are frozen. When they toast it twice it’s good. When they microwave it it’s BAD. Pls pls toast it twice lol… stop microwaving.
Su is the owner of NY Bagels & Cafe. He is such a humble man and and amazing human being. He's one of the nicest, most caring people you'll ever meet, and the quality of the food and the service of the staff portray that as well. They keep a nice, clean, well organized shop that sits directly across from the NYU Kimmel Pavilion. Had a jalepeño bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese and smoked salmon to go. Very tasty but big American sizing so could only finish half. Next time I go here will ask them to go light on the cream cheese so can eat more!
