Stumbled on this small Korean mom and pop spot on Northern Blvd. The menu is surprisingly extensive, which made it hard to narrow things down. Extra spicy squid kimbap: honestly not that spicy. Pretty average, I’ve had better. Fried seaweed roll: filled with glass noodles but came off bland. It really needed a dipping sauce to bring it together. Skip! Beef dumpling soup: the highlight. Served with glass noodles, the broth was comforting with a slight sweetness and pepper. This is a must order
Best gimbap! Long time customer and refuse to go anywhere else. Quality and quantity never disappoints. Definitely a bit intimidating when you don't speak Korean but they've gotten my favorite right 99% of the time - prince gimbap with regular tuna instead of spicy tuna.
The CHEESE TTEOKBOKKI taste the best!!! Even though the cheese is not melting one, but the sauce is really good! Kimbap are okay, I tried Tuna Kimbap, Spicy tuna Kimbap and spicy bulgogi Kimbap, they are all good. But I don’t recommend the crispy chicken sticks. It’s very chunky but the fried powder layer is toooo thick, the chicken actually is very little The staffs are friendly here, even they might not know English well. Overall, it’s 4 stars
