CHEAP EATS 🤠 A shabby joint that serves up decent dumplings for a fraction of the normal price. The reviews weren’t bad so I gave it a try. I passed by many times without a thought. The veggie fried dumplings were okay. So were the beef pancakes, I ate 2. The chives pancake was undercooked and the dough was still a bit raw. Don’t expect much, for under $10, it will satisfy your hunger. A good place to bring a date if you suspect she’s a gold digger. Bring her here a few times and I promise
For authentic Chinese pancakes, definitely stop by North Dumpling in Chinatown! Their crispy chive pancakes (filled with vermicelli noodles) are bursting with flavor whereas the sesame is soft and fluffy. I will admit the beef noodle soup is a pass and the atmosphere is not the most inviting. But prices are so beyond affordable that I will certainly be back!
Great little joint. Got the #3 Pork Filled Dumpling (10) Soup and a coke. Short wait. Delicious food. Can eat in or to go. Glad I stopped by.
