We have not been to Northern King Dumpling for a long time, so we came back today to buy their kimchi buns. They were still very good, just like we remembered, although the price feels a little higher now. The main reason we came was actually for their chive boxes, but when we got there, they were already sold out. I guess that shows how popular they are. I have found my new favorite restaurant in Flushing. It checked many boxes for me. It's delicious, no tip, no tax, clean, priced just right. I'll be back to try more of its delicious food for sure.
Food was absolutely fantastic! We ordered the shrimp, egg, and chive dumplings—bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. The seafood tofu soup (soondubu) was another standout—rich, comforting, and seasoned to perfection. The tendon appetizer was flavorful but a bit on the tough and chewy side.
