I’ve been coming here on and off for many years — this place has probably been around at least 20 years. It’s one of those old neighborhood sushi spots a lot of locals know about. This is Korean-style sushi, which is a little different from traditional Japanese sushi. One thing that makes it unique is they give you Korean spicy sauce to dip the sushi in, which actually adds a nice kick and a different flavor. Cash only. No seating. The sushi was good but not amazing. You definitely get a lot of volume of sushi, but I have had better in queens. (Check out my other sushi review for the best Queens take out sushi I have ever had) This place offers decent value but not the best. It is good for what it is: convenient, volume of food, and take out quality. They also gave us a free 3 piece hand roll crab. That was very nice of them but the seaweed was chewy and not crispy.
The fish is so fresh, and it’s only $80 in this big platters! And come with miso soup and 3 hand roll. Will come again!
