Subterranean, retro, neon-lit bar featuring a lengthy counter, plus a DJ and a disco ball.
From Google Maps reviews.
Not quite a speakeasy since the door is marked and right off the main entrance to a busy subway. It’s definitely a hole in the wall but with plenty of swank and attitude. It’s subterranean and dark with red neon accents and a backlit bar for ambiance. The pizza from next door is delivered by the bartender and it’s really good. The bathroom is literally a dark jungle funhouse with lasers and a disco ball. Cocktails are expertly made and priced accordingly. Find it and drop by!
I visited Nothing Really Matters and had an amazing experience. The cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had in my life — creative, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. The vibe is really cool and unique, with a great atmosphere that makes the night feel special. Definitely a spot I would come back to and recommend for a great night out.
Nothing Really Matters was such a cool vibe. Since it’s a speakeasy, it feels hidden—you’d never know it was tucked away in the subway, which makes it even more fun to find. The atmosphere is small, inviting, and super chill. The staff was friendly, the drinks were great, and the whole experience felt effortlessly cool. Our server Allie was down to earth and so cool. Perfect spot for a date night or a relaxed night out with friends. A must-visit if you’re in NYC!
