Had an amazing Chef's special Omakase here and every piece was carefully crafted and fish was super fresh. Probably one of the best Uni I have ever tasted in NYC. The handrolls were delicious too and we added on salmon and spicy rock shrimp to the experience. Paired it with sake and had a fantastic dinner.
Decided to splurge on delivery for NYE 2025— Both omakase boxes and sabazushi were very high quality as expected fish to rice ratio were spot on However the showstopper was the takoyaki! Lightly fried octopus that stayed crispy for an hour ride home on the train (super impressive) delicious and not greasy at all. Honestly 5 stars and the only star deducted is because it is $$$ —yes for a special occasion of course!
Ordered a to go box. Large sashimi and Omalase box. Also ordered the Special Ponzu sauce. Great presentation of the to go box, complete with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi in a separate container. Overall, sushi was great. As for the sashimi, a little on the thinner side, could have been more thicker hence the 4 stars.
