4/5 Special Rice Roll: the purple glutinous rice had such QQ chew, so satisfying! Personally for me the filling was a bit mayo heavy, and would have loved more pork floss. Very generous with the veggies tho! This would make for a great small and compact lunch option, and love that they are made to order.
I tried the special rice roll and the ham rice roll here. They were both decent, the only thing I wish was that both rolls had more filling since I feel the rice to filling ratio is vastly different. The special rice roll has lettuce, pickled radish and pork floss. The ham roll had the same, plus the ham. It could be better.
I’ve been coming here on the occasion for a few years now. It’s one of my favorite spots for food. It’s fast, affordable ($7-8 after tax), and tastes good. It’s not top notch food that makes me go “WOW!”, but it always warms my heart and soothes my soul whenever I’m exhausted or stressed.
