Great local place with some delicious Hong Kong / Chinese food. The clay pot rice is good. The soup dumplings are freshly made and never frozen. The ambience is cozy and the service is great. We’ve been here a few times now and the quality of the food is constantly good. The best part is the welcoming staff. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Good for rainy or sunny days. Keeps getting better … those skewers were great!
If you’re craving Cantonese cuisine and do not want to head out to flushing, Okay Noodle is the place to check out. This little gem is located in Elmhurst and a great addition to the area. The staff is very warm and friendly. Menu includes the top well known Cantonese snacks. We ordered the stir fried noodles, shrimp & pork wontons, a spare rib clay pot rice and Chinese broccoli. If you’re ordering the clay pot rice, order it first cause it’ll take 20 mins or so to make. The dishes are quick,
A hidden gem! It’s a quiet little spot, but the food is to die for. The pork and shrimp soup dumplings were top-notch—so well-balanced, and the broth is incredible, especially with the dipping sauce. The BBQ squid was honestly mind-blowing; I’d eat it all day, every day if I could. Great portion sizes and surprisingly cheap for NYC. The service is super friendly too. You have to try this place!
