This is more high end version and it’s still good. The shrimp katsu is extremely crispy as well. Although it is good but I still prefer the authentic 돼지국밥. They basically prepared everything so once u placed ur order the food will come to you within minutes. I can finish the meal within half hour from sit down to leave. Service is average since u don’t really need to interact much basically except placing order. Atmosphere and seatings are comfortable.
I went to check it out after the hype from culinary class wars...it was so good. The broth for the pork soup is amazing. It's so refreshing and melts in your mouth. Their katsu set is pretty good and crispy. The men serving are so kind and hard working. It's hard to find good Korean restaurants in queens these days but so happy this came in!
Came here on a cold winter night. The server was very nice. Very helpful also giving his recommendations on the menu. We ordered almost everything haha. The soup was delicious. Not a super strong tasting soup but it tasted so clean. The meat was delicious. We got the katsu and it was crispy and juicy. The kimchi dumplings were good. Spicy for me but delicious. It definitely lived up to its popularity.
