This was my first time visiting Okka! It’s a super cute coffee corner that fits perfectly with the vibe of the neighborhood. I ordered a Turkish coffee, and it was simply perfect—just like you would get in Türkiye with proper foam on top. The baklava tasted amazing, and the Turkish delight was a great touch as well. I love supporting places like this. They have a great coffee selection, are super friendly, and truly deserve to be supported to the fullest with their warm and welcoming attitude.
Not only is this the best quality coffee in the Greenpoint/Nassau area, but the owner, Oner and his wife are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! His warmth and smiles truly brighten my day and I can’t recommend their coffee + Turkish pastries enough.
Okka is a lovely neighborhood spot that’s a big part of our community, family-run been here for 5 years and Onur is always so kind as is his wife and the other people who run this coffeeshop. They have outdoor seating too which is rare to find in this area. Quiet corner for daily coffee and baklava. Their croissants and be&c are great too
