Longtime counter-serve joint doling out large slices from many varieties of pies, plus hearty subs.
From Google Maps reviews.
Slice was a bit doughy and too heavy on the cheese. But that does make it very filling. Quick service and plenty of open tables. Overall it's not a bad slice but not something I would go out of my way for. Two slices in the picture, I had the plain.
Stopped by here to try a slice while we were in the area. The shop is small, but clean. Staff were awesome and friendly. The pizza was so good. I will be thinking about it for a very long time. We tried the chicken Caesar slice and a pepperoni. The slices were reheated in the oven for a couple minutes and the lettuce was not wilted on the chicken Caesar slice. We will definitely be back next time we visit we left full, but I wish I would have ordered some slices to go.
Not sure if this is the original famous Rays ( up for debate?). But the pizza here was very tasty. The prices are super reasonable too for midtown-ish Manhattan. The chicken Cesar slice was surprisingly delicious!
