When I say this place has the best sushi, I am not exaggerating. I even feel I'm downplaying my experience. I've had sushi before. I have my favorite rolls. I have the kinds I kinda ehh on. But boy was I wrong. Turns out I love salmon as much as I love tuna, I'd just been having a shadow version of the good stuff all along. Food is very good. The sweet potato rolls were good as well as the sashimi app. Sashimi arrived still cold which is a big plus. Chicken teriyaki with fried rice was also good. Everything tasted fresh which I was happy with. No real complaints there. Only thing to mention is the Chicken teriyaki. It had way much rice and not enough protein. Other than that I’d order again. Probably avoid the teriyaki next time.👍
I got a takeout order of the lunch special chicken teriyaki bento box to try this place for the first time. The chicken was really soft and delicious. Under the chicken there is cabbage and broccoli which were both cooked well. The California roll was good - the rice had good flavor, and the avocado was soft. I feel more confident to try their raw sushi now. I'll update my review whenever I get around to trying that. This place used to be a Chinese store, and around 2022 a new management took o
