The sun was out, cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so we stopped by here after walking around the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, honestly perfect timing and vibes. This place is super popular and I get why. It was packed but the service was insanely quick and efficient, which I appreciated. What a great find! You know this place is legit - their food presentation. matches all their pictures. You eat with your eyes and mouth here. We ordered the seasonal wagyu kitsumabushi, the kaishin don, the hanabi roll, the mentaiko pasta, and the chawanmushi. We we've ordered the rest of the menu, if we had enough stomach room. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic.
Donburi set is a must-get. Mentaiko croquette was deliciously creamy, with a bit of a spicy kick. Mentai pasta was a little on the rich side, but the crispy bacon was a great textural contrast
