Good atmosphere and service. Was surprised they asked for a card at the beginning of the meal. Squash tlayuda was a little bland, but the homemade hot sauces zested it up! In my current vein of reviewing bathrooms, I appreciate separate rooms for toilets with the shared sink. Vacant/not vacant bolt indicators are a plus, though only hand dryers :/
Watched the final Knicks game here and it was a great time! I don’t love that they put us right in front of the screen though even though we had reservation and a pretty small party 😞
My go-to spot in Gowanus Easily a highlight of the neighborhood - I haven’t found another place quite like Parklife. It’s part restaurant, part beautiful outdoor hang, and part event space with film nights + screenings. But what really sold me is the people. The staff are genuinely some of the best: warm, funny, and always on top of things. The food also hits that perfect fusion sweet spot - creative w/o trying too hard, comforting w/o being boring. I’ve brought friends here for a “quick bite”
