I always prefer to support minority-owned businesses, which makes leaving this review particularly difficult. However, the service my mother and I experienced here recently was incredibly poor. My sorority sisters and I chose this restaurant for our founders day dinner! & when I tell you it did not disappoint. Ibrahim our waiter was absolutely polite, attentive, and kind. The food was amazing and the ambience was immaculate. We couldn't believe this place was located on 125th, we know the old Harlem. I have recommended this place multiple times already and I plan to come back. I no longer live in NY, but this is definitely on my places for recommendations when people in ATL ask.
The food was very good, and the drinks were definitely strong. However, for a bill that came close to $400 for two people, I expected a much better dining experience. Our server informed another table that she was in training, and while I try to be understanding, I think the restaurant should have provided more support and supervision.
